Please Help write this email professionally: Good Afternoon 3 South Nurses, This morning it was discovered that patient Thomas Moses’s court ordered medication ( Seroquel) was marked as refused over the weekend, and Olanzapine IM was not given as per MD’s Order. Please I can not emphasize this enough, BPC policy requires that if a patient refuses PO medication, the nurse is to call MD and administer IM. In other words, any patient who refuses PO meds should as per court order take thorough IM. The medication should be taken either by mouth or intermuscular. The Doctors, and the TTL were displeased this morning about the occurrence, and it has happened more than once. After going through all the court ordered medications, I also discovered that the Doctors were using the ABBREVIATION ( TOO) which you may not be familiar with, on some patients; for clarity I told them to spell it out to ( COURT ORDERED MEDICATION) this way there will no confusion of the meaning of ( TOO), which by the way means TREATMENT OVER OBJECTION.
