i required to create a training brochure for your HACC organisation. This brochure will be used for new and existing workers to carry out their work in the client’s home as a basic reference. 

 

The brochure must provide information to address the following criteria:

 

1. A carer’s role and responsibilities in home and community care

2. Respecting the client’s home and possessions

3. Arriving and entering homes

4. Health and hygiene procedures in the home care situation

5. Waste control and waste minimisation in the home care situation

6. Dealing with hazards and poisons in the home care situation

7. Practices to enhance sustainability in the workplace

8. Ensuring culturally appropriate care for clients

9. Reporting appropriately on changes in clients

10. Documenting and using appropriate forms

11. Duty of care

12. Ethical and legal aspects of home care

13. Organisation standards, policies and procedures and how to access them

 

Brochure Specifications:

 

• Brochure should be at least 4-5 pages
• Brochure must use “Calibri” Font and font size 12.
• Each criterion should have its own heading and content

Each criterion should be covered in a minimum of 20 words to a maximum of 200 words.
